Who doesn't want to dine by a GIANT mural of fire-breathing serpents? Come here now. The service is nice. The food is good. It's 5 minutes from Legoland & kids eat free w/ the Legoland ticket and you can have a beer Mom & Dad! (The driver can settle for sweet tea.) YAHOO! What more can you want? Did I mention you can eat outside? Mega dip=mega yum Have fun!

No matter the Tijuana Flats, the food is consistently good. At this particular visit it was Taco Tuesdaze! So hubby and I enjoy two tacos, chips and a beverage for $5.49. This location also offered free kids meals with a same-day LEGOLAND ticket. It was the server who told us about the deal. I love that she offered to help us save even more money and allowed us to stack deals.

This was an amazing experience indeed!! I walked in and was immediately greeted by Sidney, she was full of life and very knowledgable. She Immediately went over the specials after finding out it was my first time here and proceeded to lead me through the menu. I was so comfortable and pleased I let her make the decision for me, and wow it was perfect. I was greeted by the manager Clovis as well who brought me the order and made sure I was well taken care of, I've worked in the industry for many years so I appreciate them making this a better world. Thank you Tijuana Flats for making my brief visit to Lego land an amazing experience. You are lucky to have employees like this in your establishment. Kevin

3.5 stars. Pretty good food and close to home. We placed an order online and there was an issue, so when I got there they had to remake the food. It was no biggie and the waitress was very apologetic. Love the hot sauce bar. I got a beef taco salad. I liked that they used Romaine lettuce and not iceberg. The beef was well cooked and the shell was crispy and good. The jalapeños are pretty hot, I'd ask for them on the side next time and I'm a fan of spicy food. My bf ordered a chimichanga which he said was alright but bland. Also got an order of cookie dough flautas, which, how can you go wrong with those? Despite the order mix up, the food and service were good. Convenient and close to home, I'll be back.

Hip, chill, and delicious food. The best part of the place is the attentive staff on hand. The menu has the best names for their food and super creative. It's a fun place to grab a Tex Mex lunch and affordable. Artwork on the wall is interesting but a center piece for conversatio. Definitely will go back for more.

This place is awesome. Food is great so is the staff. Most places have a salsa bar. They have a hot sauce bar. And all were hot and tasty. Fun place for adults and kids. 5 stars all the way. Go and enjoy it.

I had the tacos (fish & chicken) and they were in hard shells that are unusually long. This meant more fish, more chicken, more bang for your buck!!! They have ALOT of different hot sauces to choose from. The guacamole is very fresh. The service is great too!!!

I love love love this place. Their tacos are great and they have a wide array of hot sauces to choose from. The inside is very cool with there painting and modern Mexican root look. Eat here for sure! Cheap and yummy.

Food was SO good and fresh. Kids ate all their chicken quesadilla which is unheard of. My chimichanga was fantastic! So glad we tried this place after a long day at LegoLand

OMG, the staff here are so nice!! I've been to the Saint Pete Tijuana Flats and was happy with the service and food but this location went out of their way to accommodate a clumsy Charlotte. I spilled my untouched Sangria right into my bowl of yummy goodness and they were kind enough to replace my food and drink entirely. The Noritto Bowl has just the right amount of most food groups and is always delicious scooped up into tortilla chips.

Fantastic staff & amazing food. it's a fun spot day or night. I have been to many locations down in Miami, but this one is the best thus far. You gotta try the chicken flautas .. Finger licking good.

Food is great, I love the chimi, and the flautas. Taco Tuesday is a great deal and they have some of the best service around. I highly recommend this place especially for a family.

Typical Tex Mex restaurant, but it tastes great. Taco Tuesday for $4.99. You get two tacos, chips, and a drink!

Decent tex mex. The chips and queso is actually pretty solid. I stick with two steak tacos with everything and they're what you'd expect out of a tex mex place.

This place is OK, the decor for this Orlando-based chain is arguably trendy or gimmicky. Anyway, chicken and beef tacos are good, DON'T get any of the items with steak! The quality is not that good, and last time I went with my girlfriend, the amount of steak pieces in the quesidilla was pathetic...we had to get the manager over to fix it. Will give this place a rest for a few months.

Severely under-whelmed. Half their sauces at the hot bar were empty. And honestly, the burrito wasn't that great. I know it's trendy "Tex-Mex" food, but when I order the biggest burrito on the menu I expect leftovers & instead I polished it off with ease. Their Spanish Rice is nasty - way too much chili powder in it (to the point that it only tastes like chili powder). Their service is tied for the worst I've experienced in Florida so far. If I walk into a restaurant and I am handed a menu, I expect wait staff. If I see a menu on the wall, I know I'm in for fast food. Don't do both - you'll only create mass-confusion. They don't let you refill your own soda nor do they send someone around (y'know, like a waiter/waitress) to ask if you need anything. You have to track down one of the teenagers flirting with each other to refill your drink (and then give you 95% ice). The seats aren't anchored correctly & shifted. It's a wannabe Surfer-themed, toned down Taqueria with food that Taco Bell can top (seriously, an XXL Grilled Stuft Burrito would have been tastier). Not impressed in the slightest.

Above average. Good selection of hot sauces and neat decor. Not a huge fan of how they put raw jalapeños on everything though.

Never had a bad taco here. I always get the hard shell beef tacos with all the toppings (except sour cream). I LOVE the fact that they serve Mello Yello on crushed ice! Although you seat yourself, someone goes around asking if you need your drink refilled.

This place is fantastic. I can't say enough about how great the service is, too. Plus the prices are great: three meals, two beers, and chips & salsa for $20. It's right outside of Legoland but doesn't feel like yet another McDonald's-type family eatery. Our four-year-old was satisfied and so were we. Highly recommend!

Tijuana Flats is by far the best place to get Mexican, Tex-Mex food.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
